They should be labeled as such in all CAPS:AECS5COMMONPATHAECS5PLUGINPATHAECS5PRESETPATHEssentially, the installer didnt know where to put the files, so it just created these directories.īUT I noticed in my root folder C: the installer had created three folders. So you just have to cut and paste these folder's CONTENTS into their corresponding folders.SooooAECS5COMMONPATH contents goes in Programfiles/adobe/common/AECS5PLUGINPATH contents goes in Programfiles/adobe/afterffectscs5.5/supportfiles/plug-ins/AECS5PRESETPATH contents goes in Programfiles/adobe/afterffectscs5.5/supportfiles/presets/Hope this helps!Don't know why this was happening.
For those of you having issues installing this plugin:A) TKOYEAH is right, copy the contents of the directories created by the installer to the existing Adobe directories.B) In my case, the 'Presets' did not appear in the 'Effects and Presets' Tab.
You can either: Select your layer Select 'Animation' tab Select 'Apply animation preset' navigate in new window and select your trapcode preset. OR Go to the 'Effects and presets' toolbar and select the drop down arrow on the 'Animation Presets' tab.
